Samsung Galaxy a32 5G short review

 Introduction

Samsung did a great job with the latest batch of the Galaxy a series. The Korean giant clearly focused its efforts on what is officially its best selling point.

In its quest to be as trendy as possible, Samsung also went ahead and made 5G version of the phone. This 5G variant tend to target the same price point as the 4G counterpart which means that there are some compromises to in place  accommodate the 5G chip.

We would go as far as saying that gallery a32 5G is an entirely different smartphone from the Galaxy a32. The price point is roughly the same, which was  clearly Samsung's main goal, but for that to happen, a32 5G comes with LCD display instead AMOLED. A low resolution of HD+, at that, stuck at 60Hz refresh rate. Galaxy a32 5G is on the heavy side, it scales 205g. This means it's a whole 20g, or so, heavier than Galaxy a32, yet still with the same battery capacity.

The camera department has also seen some changes, including a main camera swap to a low resolution 48MP unit. The Galaxy a32 5G gets an extra 2MP depth camera over its 4G LTE sibling. Also it can do 4k video at 30fps. That final intriguing bit comes courtesy of MTK dimensity 720 5G chipset found in the Galaxy a32 5G. An all-round upgrade over the MTK helio G80 inside the Galaxy a32.

clusions:

So, its pretty clear how the budget was relocated to make Galaxy a32 5G a reality. The Galaxy a32 5G has chosen some downgrade to be in the same price point as the 4G LTE sibling which is the Galaxy a32. The question remains, I if it worth the downgrade to accommodate a slightly better chip and 5G connectivity?
